Lighthouse High School desires our students to not only leave our school with their High School Diploma, but also with a skill that will allow them to get a job that will help them provide for themselves and their families or allow them to even become entrepreneurs. To accomplish this, Lighthouse High School has partnered with some organizations to help give them the skills they need to be successful.
Lighthouse High school has partnered with CCU to Promote the Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credentialing Program, a major national (United States) movement to improve the quality of child care. The program is designed to assess and credential early care and education professionals based on performance.
Let’s go Taxes has partnered with LHHS and truly is on the go by teaching our students how to become tax prepares. Students who take the tax prepares course complete internships at one of Lets go taxes 6 franchise offices. The goal is to ultimately allow students the ability to open their own tax business and become successful entrepreneurs!
CCCU has partnered with Lighthouse High school to give students an opportunity to earn a associates degree. Lighthouse High School students not only graduate with there High School Diploma, but with an AA degree!
The Help Me Too Foundation offers scholarships to low income students, as well as trains them for the missions Field. After the students are trained they are sent to Haiti to volunteer to serve as volunteers in the Lighthouse High school located in Port-Au-Prince, instructing students in such subjects as English, Math, and Sciences.
Trains students in such constructions skills as roofing, painting, drywall and a host of other construction disciplines. After they are trained they are hired by contractor as entry level workers with the goals of obtaining higher level positions in the construction industry, and eventually become entrepreneurs.
